Octodad: Dadliest Catch Coming Later This Month
Young Horses has announced a January 30th release date for its highly anticipated sequel to Octodad. Dadliest Catch will be available on Steam for PC, Mac, and Linux. You can also expect to find it on Humble and GOG. The developer hopes to expand to the PS4 by March, according to creator Philip Tibitoski.
Octodad revolves around a dad with an incredible secret – he’s an octopus. The original game forces players to stay within the confines of the family home. However, Octodad: Dadliest Catch takes you to the grocery store, the backyard, and even an aquarium. You must control Octodad and help him blend in with normal humans – if you don’t, he might be the new dish at the local seafood buffet! The cartoon-like atmosphere is sure to pique the interests of animation fans.
Young Horses had this to say on the matter:
It’s been a long time coming, and we’re super excited that the game is finally going to be in players hands at the end of this month.
The game has an MSRP of $14.99.
