New Trailer for DC Comics’ Injustice: Gods Among Us
If you’re one of those comic book fans who liked the Mortal Kombat VS DC fighting game from 2008 but felt that the DC superheroes didn’t fit in with Mortal Kombat’s over the top characters, then DC’s upcoming fighting game entitled Injustice: Gods Among Us may be what you’ve been waiting for all these years.
Basically, it’s a fighting game that features DC’s top tier characters without any Mortal Kombat characters, so you’d have a pretty consistent universe to play with. Additionally, the fighting engine will no longer remind you of MK, as it seems to be more akin to the one used by Dead or Alive.
If we’re only going by the trailer, the roster is looking pretty thin, with only Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Solomon Grundy, and Harley Quinn as playable characters. Of course, it’s just a teaser trailer so we don’t know if there’s more characters in the actual release (and you can bet that additional characters are easy to add as DLC). Injustice: Gods Among Us is scheduled for release on the PS3, 360, and Wii U in early 2013.
