The much-awaited sequel to War for Cybertron, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron was released today in North America for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, and High Moon Studios has seen it fit to release a new launch trailer, probably to convince the 2 Transformers fans in the world who are still on the fence about the game.
Like its predecessor, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron still uses the Unreal 3 engine, but don’t let the game engine’s age fool you into thinking that it looks dated. The Unreal 3 engine is still capable of producing quality, almost photorealistic visuals especially if given access to today’s hardware.
As expected, Fall of Cybertron will give you a chance to play through the game from the perspective of both the Autobots and the Decepticons. The key changes in the game include a more dynamic melee combat system, and the addition of the Dinobots as playable character. The game also features the first videogame appearance of the gigantic (by Transformers standards) Metroplex.
North American users can buy Transformers: Fall of Cybertron now, but European users will have to wait until the 24th(boo!)
