WayForward to Release 3DS Adventure Time Collector's Edition

WayForward’s upcoming DS/3DS game based on Pendleton Ward’s hit animated series Adventure Time is almost here. Entitled Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?!! (whew!), the game puts you in control of Finn and Jake in an action RPG game that pits them against the Ice King, who has stolen all of their trash in order to create a Garbage Princess.

If the mere fact that it’s based on Adventure Time isn’t enough to part you with your money, Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?!! will also get a nifty collector’s edition chock full of bonus goodies.

The collector’s edition includes the game itself, an Enchiridion SteelBook case, a stylus modeled after Finn’s gold sword, a Book of Beasts bestiary guide book, and a Land of Ooo fold-out map.

The whole package will retail for $39.95. That’s almost half the price of a regular boxed PC game in exchange for a whole ton of extras that should have doubled the price of the package. According to my mastery of maths, this effectively makes the Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?!! collector’s edition free, even if adjusted for inflation.

You can get your free copy of the 3DS collector’s edition of Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?!! for the low low price of $39.95 (The regular edition costs 10 bucks less, but it is less awesome without the extras.)when it ships on November 20 for both the 3DS and the aging (but still awesome) DS.
