Two new preview clips for Green Lantern The Animated Series has been released by WB Animation. Entitled “Flight Club”, this week’s episode finds themselves in an urgent need to cross an impenetrable asteroid barried called “The Maelstrom”, before Atrocitus and his army of Red Lanterns can do so.
Unfortunately, the legendary code that holds the key to crossing The Maelstrom is only known to a Thanagarian prisoner named Byth Rok, and so the Lanterns must travel to a prison asteroid, in order to meet Byth Rok himself.
The first clip shows a hilarious exchange as Hal is caught talking negatively about a Guardian, then the tone of the clip becomes more serious, as the Red Lantern’s invasion plans are discussed in more detail, including what the Lanterns must do to prevent the invasion:
The second clip shows Hal and Kilowog trying to brave a group of savage Thanagarian pirates in order to meet Byth Rok himself face to face, only to be underwhelmed by the slightly less-savage looking Rok.
