Well, they bring in, you know, various directors, so I think I’ve worked with two or three over there, however, Art Brown, I don’t know if he takes directing credit, but he works with some of the actors a lot. He’ll work with me when I’m there and give me different ideas on how I may want to play a scene, and usually people are wrong and yeah, he’s almost always right. So, it makes it fun to go in and work with him because he’s great in other ways of seeing the scene that you might not have seen that way.

DreamWorksTV Posts Deleted Scene from How to Train Your Dragon 2

One of the pros of major studios starting and maintaining their own Youtube channels is that it gives them a place to showcase content that only they have access to. Case in point is DreamWorksTV, which has recently posted an exclusive deleted scene from the hit CG animated film How to Train Your Dragon 2.

The clip focuses on a scene in which Hiccup tries to teach Eret that Dragons like Toothless and humans can be friends after all. If you haven’t watched the movie yet, the digital download will be made available on October 21st, followed by the full DVD/Blu-Ray release on November 11th. You can check out the clip below:

Chinese Release Date for How to Train Your Dragon 2 Set

According to a recent report by Variety, DreamWorks’ How to Train Your Dragon 2 will be heading to Chinese theaters next month, which is not surprising as DreamWorks is already known to be eyeing China as it is currently the world’s fastest growing movie market. The report reveals that Chinese authorities have approved How to Train Your Dragon 2 for an August 14 release.

If you’re like me, then you have already seen How To Train Your Dragon 2 at least 5 times, and you are calling it the best movie of the year. If you’re even more like me, you want to spend more time in that world with Hiccup, Toothless and all the Riders of Berk. Well, I have good news for those of you who want more Dragons.

DreamWorks Planning Two More How to Train Your Dragon Films

Hollywood has this fixiation with trilogies, as many franchises are either pure trilogies or split into two trilogies, just to keep that magic number 3 going. However, DreamWorks wants to break form a little bit, as the successful How to Train Your Dragon franchise – originally intended to be a trilogy – might be getting a fourth installment.

It’s not set in stone yet, though. DreamWorks Animation is reportedly still mulling over the possibility of making two more films in the franchise, as revealed by composer John Powell during an interview with Collider.

Teaser for First 5 Minutes of How to Train Your Dragon 2 Released

DreamWorks Animation has recently released a new promo clip for How to Train Your Dragon, this time providing a hefty amount of content: the first 5 minutes of the film. It’s a lot longer than your average teaser trailer but not long enough to spoil anything important.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 is directed by Dean DeBlois and will bring back Hiccup, Toothless, and the rest of the dragon riders. The film starts five years after the events of the first movie, with the video showing off some of the aerial stunts and brand new environments that will be brought to life on the film’s premiere (June 13.)
