DreamWorks Releases How to Train Your Dragon iOS App
DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. has just announced the release of a new iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch app based on their hit How to Train Your Dragon franchise, with the help of leading Smartphone games publisher PikPok.
Entitled DreamWorks Dragons: TapDragonDrop, the app is now available on the App Store, ready to take players to the Viking island of Berk, which has been struck by a great storm, resulting in the village’s sheep being scattered throughout the land. The goal of the game is to use wit and a bevy of new Dragon friends to solve puzzles and recover the lost sheep. The main game involves tapping, dragging, and dropping your dragon’s powerful abilities in order to interact with the environment and rescue the flock.
“We’re excited to share TapDragonDrop with casual gamers and fans of the How to Train Your Dragon franchise,” said Chris Hewish, Head of Global Interactive for DreamWorks Animation. “In addition to the fun gameplay and beautiful design, players can stay engaged as we expand this exciting world of legendary creatures.”
DreamWorks Dragons: TapDragonDrop is available for $1.99 from the App Store, or at www.itunes.com/appstore.
