Ice Age: Continental Drift to Premiere at Giffoni
Fox’s 4th installment of the Ice Age franchise, Ice Age: Continental Drift, is scheduled to premiere at the Italian Giffoni Film Festival next month. With the Giffoni’s reputation as the largest film festival for showcasing productions aimed towards children, Scrat and his buddies may find their European debut successful as they kick off Ice Age: Continental Drift on July 22.
Ice Age: Continental Drift will see the return of everybody’s favorite gang of prehistoric buddies, and will feature the voices of Ray Romano, Denis Leary, Queen Latifah, Jennifer Loperz, John Leguizamo, and Peter Dinklage. Blue Sky founder Chris Wedge will also return as the voice of Scrat.
This is not the first time the Ice Age franchise debuted at the Giffonis, as the third installment, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, also made its Italian debut at the Giffonis. Ice Age: Continental Drift is scheduled to open in the US on July 13 and Sept 28 in the Italy for its general release.
