Ice Age Easter Special on Fox Television
FOX sets a primeval turn on the world’s first Easter egg hunt in the animated special Ice Age: The Great Egg-Scapade. The all-new animation will premiere on March 20, Sunday, (7:30-8:00 PM ET/PT) which will also show an exclusive sneak peek at the new film Ice Age: Collision Course.
Manny, Scrat, Diego, Sid and a few new friends from the Ice Age franchise come back for a funny all-new holiday adventure. The Ice Age: The Great Egg-Scapade follows the story of anxious bird mom Ethel (Taraji P. Henson) hands over her soon-to-hatch egg to Sid (John Leguizamo). When Ethel recommends him to her neighbors Cholly Bear (Gabriel Iglesias), condor mom (Wendy Williams) and Gladys Glypto (Lili Estefan), business develops at his new egg-sitting service. However, Squint (Seth Green), the devious pirate bunny steals, disguises and hides all the eggs. Once more, with the twin brother of Squint, Clint (Blake Anderson) assisting, Diego (Denis Leary), Manny (Ray Romano) and the rest come to the rescue and launch a brave mission that turns into the first ever Easter egg hunt in the world.
Ice Age: The Great Egg-Scapade arrives on Digital HD one day after its broadcast at Google Play, iTunes, Amazon Video, Vudu, Microsoft Movies & TV, Sony Playstation Store and MGo. It is produced by Blue Sky Studios and Twentieth Century Fox Animation. Chris Wedge, Lori Forte and Carlos Saldanha are executive producers. Ricardo Curtis serves as the director while John C. Donkin serves as producer.
