Captain America: The First Avenger to the box office

Next summer is going to be very crowded with Marvel’s comic book super heroes. When The Avengers film hits theaters, we’ll have Thor, Iron Man, Hawkeye, and a whole slew of other Disney icons ready to battle anything that comes their way. But their story wont be contained just in the single film; rather, we’ve had Nick Fury recruiting the cast for some time now, with some of those folks already appearing in their own films. And now, Cap officially kicks off the saga with the newest Marvel film, Captain America: The First Avenger, which opened in first place this past weekend, with $65 million to it’s name, besting the opening to DC Comics’ Green Lantern movie from a few weeks back, and even topping Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Who joined in to see Captain America on the big screen so far? And who will be heading there this week?
