After the international success of Marvel’s live action movie adaptation of the Iron Man franchise, PGS Entertainment have decided to ride the momentum and announce new sales for the animated series Iron Man: Armored Adventures. Produced by Marvel Entertainment, Method Animation, and DQe, the second season of Iron Man: Armored Adventures has just been sold to new broadcasters in the US, Europe, Middle East, and Latin America.
“We have had a tremendous response to this franchise,” noted Philippe Soutter, President and CEO, PGS Entertainment. “Season I has already been sold in over 180 territories — many of which have come back for Season II. The ground swell created by the movie trilogy is, of course, fueling interest and ratings, but the animated series stands on its own. The production budget is the highest ever for an animated Super Hero series and it shows.”
Iron Man: Armored Adventures follows a teenaged version of Tony Stark, who is heir apparent to the billion-dollar corporation Stark International. He battles enemies of world piece in his high-tech armor, but after losing his father in a tragic plane accident, the young man decided to use the suit of invincible armor to protect just about anyone who could fall prey to tragedy.
