Marvel Studios has recently announced that they have begun production on the third installment in their Iron Man movie franchise. Tentatively titled Iron Man 3, the initial shoot for the movie will be in Wilmington, North Carolina. Iron Man 3 will feature the return of Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, and Jon Favreau to their respective roles. Executive producers on the project include Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Charles Newirth, Victoria Alonso, Stephen Broussard and Dan Mintz. Iron Man 3 is scheduled for release in the US on May 3, 2012.
