This coming Friday, April 20, Nickelodeon will celebrate Earth Day with the release of three new eco-themed games based on the Kung Fu Panda and SpongeBob Squarepants Franchises.
The first game, based on Kung Fu Panda: Tales of Po, comes with a special Earth Day related story called “A Thing for Bling”, in which a wasteful and showboating Mao Ren decides to steal a precious gem just to add to his jewelry collection. Mao Ren is the type of individual who litters the environment, wastes resources, and completely disregards nature, and it is up to Po and the Furious Five to put an end to his wasteful ways as well as teach him how to be responsible to the environment.
The other two eco-themed games are both based on SpongeBob Squarepants – the first one is called SpongeBob Squarepants: Spring Cleaning, in which players must help SpongeBob clean his messy pineapple, by solving different puzzles. The next SpongeBob eco-themed game is entitled SpongeBob Squarepants: Spring it On, in which alien fish invade Bikini Bottom in order to eat the plants. Unfortunately for the alien fish, it is Earth Day, which means the plants get to fight back!
All the new eco-themed games will be made available on April 20 on Nickelodeon’s Nick.com portal.
