New Daffy Duck Short to Debut with Journey 2

If you’re itching for a new 3-D Looney Toon starring everyone’s favorite duck, then you need to score a ticket to the screening of Warner Bros.’ Journey 2: The Mysterious Island on February 10, since the movie will include the premiere of Daffy Duck’s newest CG toon – Daffy’s Rhapsody.

Directed by Matthew O’Callaghan (Coyote Falls, I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat, Curious George), Daffy’s Rhapsody follows Elmer Fudd as his relaxing evening at the theater is turned upside down by the unexpected appearance of his perpetual and ever-elusive hunting target, Daffy Duck, on the stage. What follows is a chase scene between Elmer and Daffy while the latter sings a song about hunters and how they never leave him alone – to the delight of the audience.

Daffy’s Rhapsody is produced by Spike Brandt and Tony Cervone. The short’s executive producer is Sam Register. The lyrics to Daffy’s song were written by the legendary Looney Tunes team of Warren Foster and Michael Maltese.
