Guardians of the Galaxy Introduced in Marvel Disk Wars Anime


No doubt meant to ride on the box office success of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, the anime series Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers is introducing the ragtag group of space-faring superheroes in a two-episode story arc that will air in September 10th and 17th. The airing is timely as the Guardians of the Galaxy Movie will be released in Japan in September 13th.

The first episode in the story arc is titled “Guardians of the Galaxy,” which is written by King Ryu, directed by Tsuyoshi Koga, and animated by Yukihiro Kitano. The next part, titled “Together with the Guardians,” is written by Fumi Tsubota, directed by Morio Hatano, and animated by Osamu Ishikawa. You can check out the promo video below:
