Marvel Announces New Phase of Superhero Movies

Marvel has recently revealed a new phase of superhero movies, the list of which includes several properties that were heavily speculated upon by fans. The announcement was made during a fan event in Hollywood, one big enough to easily rival many of their Comic-Con presentations.

The list of properties that will be making their way to the big screen feature Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, and the Inhumans. The announcement also reveals that the third Avengers film will be a two-parter dubbed “Infinity War.”

Marvel also confirmed that the 3rd Captain America film would serve as a launching pad for the Civil War storyline, which had the government mandating registration for superheroes and the heroes being separated into pro-reg and anti-reg, with Iron Man and Captain America serving as leaders of the respective movements.
