GameLoft to Develop My Little Pony and Littlest Pet Shop Mobile Games
If you’re a tablet user who is into games, regardless of whether you’re using an iOS or Android device, chances are you’re familiar with French digital and social games publisher Gameloft, primarily because they’re responsible for a large number of quality mobile games that are graphically impressive and can go toe to toe with console games.
In a recent announcement, Gameloft has revealed that they have entered into a licensing deal with Hasbro in order to develop games based on two of Hasbro’s most popular licenses – My little Pony and The Littlest Pet Shop.
The agreement allows Gameloft to develop and market digital games based on the two franchise, for any of the devices that they support – namely tablets, smartphones, and even web browsers. Gameloft is planning to launch the new games by the end of 2012, which will join their recent popular apps such as Men in Black 3, Ice Age Village, and Shark Dash.
