Despite the acclaim that the Ultimate Ninja Storm series received from Naruto fans, there are still some complaints over the content, and one of the more notable ones is the inclusion of the first hokage, Hashirama Senju, in ways that don’t do justice to the character at all. Sure, the playable characters use his trade mark wood release techniques, but they’re all rudimentary and don’t really show off the true power of one of the most powerful shinobis in the story.
With the upcoming Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, CyberConnect2 seems keen on correcting at least that one glaring misstep, as hinted at by next week’s issue of Shonen Jump. In said issue, two characters appearances in the game will be previewed: Edo Tensei Madara and Edo Tensei Sage Hashirama.
The screens also show off two of the most visually impressive techniques in the series, namely Madara’s final Susan’o and Hashirama’s Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands.
