New Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution Trailer Shows Off Mecha Naruto

It was previously revealed that the new bonus character for the upcoming Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution game will be a Masashi Kishimoto-designed robot version of Naruto, aptly named “Mecha Naruto.”

Based on the trailer, it looks like Mecha Naruto is being set up as a villain, with the voice-over hyping him up as some sort of unstoppable force that will require Sasuke and Naruto himself doing one of the new team up supers.

A few interesting things about Mecha Naruto include a digital display on his headband that seems to correspond to how powerful his attack is going to be (for instance, the display went from 7610 to 9999 upon transforming to tailed beast chakra mode), and the ability to transform into – or merge with, to be more precise – a colossal Mecha Kurama.

You can check out the video below:

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution will arrive on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms in 2014.
