WSJ Previews Designs for Boruto: Naruto the Movie

If you thought the Naruto franchise ended with chapter 700 of the manga, think again. The next issue of Weekly Shonen Jump will preview a bunch of visual and character designs for the leads of the Boruto: Naruto the Movie spin-off film, which is scheduled for an August premiere.

The new lead characters are Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha, the son of Naruto and Hinata, and the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura, respectively. Boruto: Naruto the Movie is said to be the last film in the franchise, and will be directed by Naruto Shippuden animator Hiroyuki Yamashita. The script will be handled by Ukyo Kodachi, with creative input from series creator Masashi Kishimoto himself. You can check out the previews below:
