Animation Guild Provides Panel on TV Development

If you’re interested in the inner workings of TV development, especially when it comes to animation, you might want to drop by the informative panel discussion provided by The Animation Guild (Local 839) this coming Tuesday, September 25.

The panel is dubbed “The State of TV Animation Development,” and will be hosted by TAG executive board member Karen Carnegie Johnson. The panelists will consist of Nickelodeon senior VP of animation development Jenna Boyd, Fox Animation’s VP of comedy development and animation Jonathan Davis, Frederator VD of development Eric Homan, and Disney Television Animation VP of development Michael McGahey.

The panel will tackle the current state of TV animation, and will provide key details on what each major studio is looking for today, as well as how to pitch your projects to studios and development teams properly. Pizza and refreshments are available at 6:30 PM, but the meeting will begin at 7pm. Membership meetings are held in the meeting hall of TAG, which is situated in 1105 North Hollywood Way in Burbank, California, between Magnolia and Chandler.
