Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition

Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition has shipped to retailers all across the globe, ready to be grabbed up by all of our grubby little hands.  The concept is simple and fun, and very similar to the release of last year’s Drawn to Life game — you can draw and play as your own character.  In this SpongeBob version, you can now create objects within the world of SpongeBob SquarePants using your Nintendo DS stylus.

Here’s what the official press release had to say:

Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition allows SpongeBob fans to celebrate their creativity by drawing themselves into their very own video game. Usimng the unique drawing mechanic from the original Drawn to Life, players will draw the hero, power ups, costumes, and even their own Bikini Bottom home to interact with SpongeBob SquarePants’ underwater universe like never before. With more than 20 levels to explore and countless numbers of items to draw, players can literally leave their personal mark on Bikini Bottom. Gamers will be challenged to battle, erase and then re-draw their enemies as they move through the game. A two-player vs. mode will allow players to compete against each other, while built-in drawing lessons will help kids increase their artistic abilities by learning to draw SpongeBob. The special Coloring Book section of the game will also allow kids to color their favorite characters from the world of Bikini Bottom.
