Nickelodeon Debuts it’s first full-length stop-motion special, It’s A SpongeBob Christmas!
This coming holiday season, Nickelodeon will bring everybody’s favorite Bikini Bottom resident to life in the network’s first ever full length stop motion animated special, “It’s a Spongebob Christmas!”, which puts Spongebob Squarepants in his own 30 minute special inspired by the classic Rankin/Bass holiday TV movies, such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.
It’s a Spongebob Christmas! will find Plankton vowing to do everything that is within his power (and even those that are not) in order to get his Christmas wish: the Krabby Patty Formula. Of course, this being Plankton, his best idea is to turn every single denizen of Bikini Bottom bad by force feeding them his patented jerktonium-laced fruitcake, with jerktonium actually staying true to its name – it has the ability to turn anyone into a jerk. The TV special will feature guest John Goodman as the voice of Santa Claus.
