Nickelodeon to Launch Bilingual Preschool Learning Toys for Dora the Explorer

Nickelodeon and Smart Play, LLC., have recently joined forces in order to launch a new line of dual-language preschool learning toys based on the Dora the Explorer franchise. Set for a spring debut nationwide, the product line will include a whole slew of electronic learning toys and puzzles that can be played in both English and Spanish languages. The toys are designed to be lightweight and compact, making them ideal for use by kids at home and on the go.

“Smart Play, LLC., is renowned for making incredible products and they have done a remarkable job creating entertaining and affordable toys featuring the beloved Dora the Explorer,” said Manuel Torres, Senior Vice President, Global Toys and Publishing. “These products make education fun and entertaining, while providing kids with an interactive bi-lingual play pattern.”

“We are thrilled to partner with Nickelodeon to bring Dora the Explorer fans a great way to interact with their favorite character while engaging in educational play,” said Ilango Sankaralingam, President of Smart Play, LLC.

The Product Lineup Includes:

· Dora Explore & Play Pad:
With Dora as a guide, kids can discover the alphabet, numbers, letter sounds, simple words and more, in either English or Spanish. Features volume control and auto shut-off. Three AA Batteries included. $19.99, ages 2+.

· Dora Explore & Play Mat:
A play mat that allows kids to learn the alphabet, numbers, letter sounds, simple words and much more with Dora.
