Nickelodeon to Premiere Fairly Odd Christmas Movie
Nickelodeon has just announced plans to debut a new live action/CG animated TV movie titled A Fairly Odd Christmas on November 29, at 7 PM ET/PT. The movie is based on the hit animated TV series The Fairly OddParents, and serves as a sequel to the TV special A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner, which stars Drak Bell and Daniella Monet and executive produced by Nickelodeon’s Butch Hartman.
A Fairly Odd Christmas focuses on the holiday adventures of Timmy Turner as he journeys around the world granting kids’ wishes, but he soon finds himself in trouble with Santa Claus. The movie features Rachel Crow’s version of Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.
Fairly OddParents is an Emmy-award series created by Butch Hartman about the adventures of Timmy Turner, who is granted fairy godparents named Cosmo and Wanda. The series started out as cartoon segments that ran from September 4, 1998 to March 23, 2001 on Oh Yeah! Cartoons and was later picked up as a series.
