Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer hits her 10th anniversary
Since her very first appearance in 1999, Dora the Explorer has been a fixture of the Nick empire. The series has appeared on Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., and CBS in the US, and in hundreds of other channels and markets around the globe, making Dora Marquez, the young girl who embarks on new trips every episode, one of the most internationally recognized icons. To celebrate her 10th anniversary in style, Nickelodeon and 2K Play have announced a number of Dora video games, including Dora’s Big Birthday Adventure and Dora’s Cooking Club across the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and PlayStation2. Sounds like a fun way to celebrate a birthday! How long have you been a Dora fan?
