Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Premieres Tomorrow!

Prepare to be shellshocked, because tomorrow, Saturday Sept 29 at 11AM ET/PT, Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello will be making their grand return to your television screens as Nickelodeon launches an all-new CG-animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series via a special one hour television event!

The series boasts of an impressive cast list that includes Jason Biggs (American Pie) as “Leonardo,” Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings) as “Raphael,” Rob Paulsen (Planet Sheen) as “Donatello” and Greg Cipes (Teen Titans) as “Michelangelo.” Additional cast members rounding out this iconic hit franchise include Mae Whitman (Parenthood) as “April O’Neil,” Hoon Lee (Royal Pains) as “Master Splinter” and Kevin Michael Richardson (Penguins of Madagascar) as “Shredder.”

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ premiere episode will be titled ‘Rise of the Turtles’, and will focus on Master Splinter’s teenage sons, the Mutant Ninja Turtles, as they leave the comforts of the sewers and venture out into the surface for the first time. They have been given strict orders to remain unseen, but when they saw a group of thugs trying to harass and kidnap a teenage girl and her father, the Turtles decide to disobey Master Splinter’s orders and jump into action. Soon, they discover that the surface world is not as simple as they expected it to be, as they find themselves in the middle of a conspiracy involving alien creatures, robotic droids, missing scientists and the same glowing green mutagen that mutated them in the first place.
