Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rooftop Run Becomes Top Paid iPad App

In its first week of release, Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rooftop Run global mobile app managed to shoot to the number spot on the paid iPad app lists as well as the number-three spot on the paid iPhone app lists in the US. The app is also currently ranking in as the number one paid iPad app in more than 40 international markets.

Released last Thursday, April 18, TMNT: Rooftop Run is an endless runner game with a twist – instead of merely relying on running and dodging, there’s also combat involved as the turtles can fight their way across the rooftops of New York in an effort to save the city from the invading Kraang. Unlike traditional endless runners, Teenage Mutant Ninja Trutles: Rooftop Run has your character (you can choose from any of the four turtles) actively battling enemies while trying to outrun the Kraang’s tractor beam. As you defeat enemies, you earn coins that can be redeemed for awesome power ups, weapons and equipment.

For more details on the app, you can visit the official site at http://www.tmntrooftoprun.com.
