Luffy Fights Goku in Extreme Butouden/Great Pirate Colosseum Crossover

Bandai Namco has just released a new video designed to promote the One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum and Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butouden crossover multiplayer update. Of course, purists will balk at the idea that Monkey D. Luffy, even in his 4th Gear Bound Man form, will be able to keep up with Son Goku in his Super Saiyan Blue form, but ridiculously unfair power scaling aside, one cannot deny that this is all sorts of awesome:

The way that it works is that owners of One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum and Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butouden (both exceptional 2D fighters for the Nintendo 3DS) can play against each other both locally and online, with the restriction that they will only be able to use characters from their respective games (which is a shame, as this could have been a great method of cross-promoting between fanbases.)
