New One Piece Fighting Game Revealed: Burning Blood


During the recent Tokyo Game Show, Sony revealed a new game based on Eiichiro Oda’s pirate-themed shonen series, One Piece. Titled ‘Burning Blood,’ the game is said to be slated for release in Japan via the PS4 and Vita platforms. There was no announcement on whether the game is making its way to the west, but the trailer is worth noting that the trailer is in English (plus the fact that Pirate Warriors made a killing even with the problematic PC release.)

One Piece: Burning Blood is being developed by Spike Chunsoft, which is known for the mega popular Dragonball Budokai Tenkaichi series and J-Stars Victory VS, which should give you an idea on what to expect from the game with regard to quality. There’s also a trailer, so we get to see what the game looks like in action:
