New Official One Piece Portal Site Launched

As a lead-in to the 15th anniversary of the TV anime series next year, Toei Animation and Shueisha has recently launched a new portal site for Eiichiro Oda’s popular pirate-themed manga/anime franchise, One Piece. The site can be accessed through the url ONE-PIECE.COM and has gone live yesterday, November 1.

The One Piece Manga started running in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since 1997 and is still going strong to this day. The TV anime, on the other hand, was first produced by Toei Animation and broadcasted on Fuji TV on October 20, 1999.

As expected, the site will provide a wealth of information on One Piece, pertaining to the manga, the anime, the games, the merchandise and even events. It will also feature a bunch of multimedia content, and will offer a sneak peek at the first several pages of the latest manga chapter during Fridays, ahead of Shonen Jump’s official release day during Mondays.
