2nd Trailer for FullMetal Alchemist Live Action Film Unveiled

After the slightly limited teaser released last year, the official website for the live action film adaptation of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga/anime has just released a meatier 50-second trailer that shows longer scenes involving the protagonists, the Elric Brothers, in their childhood and present/grownup versions.

While the subpar CG effects on live action adaptations of anime franchises like Death Note and Attack on Titan have left a sour taste in the mouths of fans, Fullmetal Alchemist seems to be going in the right direction: the CG effects shown in the trailer were exceptional and didn’t feel cheap nor out of place. It’s bound to get fans excited at what the film will deliver in terms of action scenes. You can go ahead check out the trailer below, to see what we’re talking about:

The film’s three-month shooting was already finished in Japan in August 2016, and it is set for a release on December 1, 2017.
