3rd Season of Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Bitty Adventures Greenlit

American Greetings Properties has recently greenlit a third season for their hit CG animated preschool series Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Bitty Adventures. The new season will include 13 new episodes and will debut in spring 2013. The approval of a third season shows how good the series’ standing is since it is still airing its second season on The Hub on a daily basis.

Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Bitty Adventures is the relaunch of the Strawberry Shortcake brand, which dates back to the 80s, with a short 2003 relaunch. The latest series follows the titular character and her friends Orange Blossom, Lemon Meringue, Blueberry Muffin, Raspberry Torte, Plum Pudding, and Cherrry Jam, who all live in Berry Bitty City.

Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Bitty Adventures is produced by Moonscoop, Cookie Jar Entertainment, American Greetings, and The Shari Lewis Company, and is broadcast in the US via The Hub and in Canada via Disney Junior.
