9 Story and GO-N Team Up for Bewitched Animated Series


9 Story Media Group and GO-N Productions have recently joined forces in order to develop and co-produce a new animated series based on the classic fantasy comedy sitcom, Bewitched. The partnership will include 9 Story and GO-N having control over worldwide distribution while 9 Story gets the rights to majority of merchandising and licensing for the series.

For the uninitiated, the Bewitched TV series originally aired from 1964 to 1972 on ABC, making it one of the longest running supernatural themed sitcom of its time. The story focuses on Elizabeth Montgomery as a witch who is married to an ordinary mortal, with the episodes mostly revolving around their efforts to live a normal, magic-free life. The Bewitched animated series will be reimagined and will be targeted towards a much young audience, with strong family co-viewing sensibilities.
