How does Santa manage to go from house to house, all over the world, in just a single night? Well, that’s a question asked for ages that Aardman Animations hopes to answer in their upcoming holiday special, Arthur Christmas. Along with Sony Pictures Imageworks, Aardman reveals how Santa utilizes an ultra high tech operation beneath the North Pole, complete with a huge army of high-tech combat elves. The plot revolves around the dysfunctional family and Arthur, whose mission must be completed before Christmas, the story shows how Santa’s team works through Christmas Eve, ensuring children worldwide will be happy Christmas morning. The CG and 3D animated comedy has Oscar nominated producers and an incredibly talent voice cast, including James McAvoy, Hugh Laurie, Jim Broadbent, Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton, and Ashley Jensen. Originally named Operation Rudolph, the film will be ready to hit theaters November 23rd, 2011.
