Aardman Launches Animate It!
Aardman Animation Studios has recently launched their new online portal dedicated to aspiring animators, Animate-It.com. The new web destination from the Oscar-winning animation studio aims to help all aspiring animators regardless of skill, experience, or talent improve their craft, ensuring that the future of the animation industry will be full of highly technical and creative animators.

Animate-It.com will contain hints and tips from established Aardman animators, regular video tutorials, ready to use resources and assets, and download links to the latest behind the scenes news from Aardman Studios themselves and the wider animation world. The site also aims to provide platform for young talent to showcase and share their work.

The launch of www.Animate-it.com will coincide with the release of Aardman’s Animate It! Morph Edition, which is a DIY stop motion animation kit. The kit comes with its own software for both Windows and Mac, a set of flexible moulds and clay for Morph and Chas models, and a “green screen” background that allows users to drop in their background of choice. The pack also includes 26 episodes of Morph! Video tutorials. The pack will retail under the MSRP of £29.99

‘The best advice I have for anyone interested in animating is ‘Have a go’ and Animate It! makes it so easy to try for yourself. I wish this had been around when I first started animating,’ says Wallace and Gromit creator Nick Park.
