Amazon Debuts Special Holiday Episode of Creative Galaxy on Friday

This coming Friday, December 5, Amazon will be debuting a special holiday episode of their preschool series Creative Galaxy on Prime Instant Video. The series is comes from Out of the Blue Enterprises, and is the braindchild of Angela Santomero (of Blue’s Clues and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood), who is also on board as Executive Producer.

Creative Galaxy is described as a “make along, create along art adventure series for children ages three to five.” The series focuses on an adorable alien artist named “Arty,” his inspirational side kick “Epiphany,” and their adventures throughout the Creative Galaxy solving problems through art.

The first half of the special is titled Baby Georgia’s First Christmas:

Baby Georgia doesn’t want to go inside and leave the Snow Alien. She loves it. Arty wants to make something to make her feel better. He flies to the sculputure planet and makes a snow globe. Then, in “Christmas memories,” Arty celebrates Christmas with friends and wants to treasure this day forever. He makes a photo book so the day doesn’t have to be over – ever!

Additionally, Amazon Studios has partnered with Toys for Tots in order to run a special Holiday Giving Event on December 5 all the way to December 16. Through the event, anyone can share a craft inspired by the Amazon Kids shows on the Amazon Kids Facebook page, using the hashtag #AmazonPrime. For each craft photo shared, Amazon Studios will donate $5 to Toys for Tots, up to a total of $5000.
