Anima Estudios and Vodka Team Up for Bugsted
Children’s contend and entertainment brand creator Vodka has recently signed a partnership deal with Anima Estudios in order to co-produce a new multi-platform project titled “Bugsted.”
Bugsted is targeted towards kids aged 8 to 11, and will consist of a TV mini-series, a game app for both iOS and Android devices, as well as a line of collectible action figures. The multi-platform roll out will be happening simultaneously in the last quarter of 2013.
The show focuses on the crazy adventures of a group of mutated Moon bugs called The Bugsteds. The bugs accidentally find themselves stranded on Earth, so they make it their mission to return home, only to be constantly thrown off course by all kinds of lookalike moons, such as a headlamp or a disco ball. The show and the games will focus on the poor moon bugs’ wacky failed attempts and edgy humor.
