Enjoy Animal Music Videos with Pink Kong’s Urban Tails

Dublin studio Pink Kong Studios is giving fans of anthropomorphic animal music videos a new series to follow, as it presents the new series Urban Tails and its star Mista C-Lion at the MIPCOM. The series will consist of 52 x 2 min 2D-animated episodes that feature various animal music artists strutting their stuff in their own music videos. All of it wrapped up neatly in a Music Chart show format.

Aside from music and comedy, Urban Tails is also educational as it teaches viewers what life is like for the creatures who share our human cities. The art style and the structure of the episodes aim to be engaging for both kids who are entertained by colorful, energetic animals and their parents who are most likely nostalgic about 1990s chart toppers. You can check out the promo video below for more details:

“This series is something very unique. It’s funny and visually appealing, while also educating the audience in a stealth like way about cool animals around the globe!” said producer Niamh Herrity of Pink Kong Studios. “We’re heading to MIPCOM with the second sample episode, Mista C-Lion from the city of San Francisco. It’s great to be able to showcase another episode filled with Wild Rhymes, Wild Beats and Wildlife!”

“These seriously catchy tunes will stick in your head for days,” commend Pink Kong’s Creative Director, Aoife Doyel. “Paws n Claws are a Salt ‘N’ Pepa style fox rap duo from Dublin who set the record straight…foxes are clever and not sly — ‘Don’t believe all you read, don’t believe the hype!’ We can’t wait to show what we have in store for Mista C-Lion!”
