On Wednesday, Nintendo announced its plans to launch mobile apps for the hit game franchises Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem, with an eye towards a fall release. Nintendo of Europe and Nintendo America also announced the games.
The app for The Fire Emblem will be more accessible than the previous Fire Emblem games but according to Nintendo, it ‘aims to offer the great value of a role-playing strategy game’. On the other hand, the app for Animal Crossing will be linked to an Animal Crossing game from Nintendo’s dedicated gaming systems. Nintendo said that users will have more fun from playing both games.
Both game apps contains more game elements compared to Miitono and content that will connect more closely to the dedicated game business of Nintendo.
