B-Daman Cross Fire takes aim at international audiences in fall 2013

Japanese media company d-rights have announced that they will be releasing 2011’s Cross Fight B-Daman television anime internationally as B-Daman Cross Fire. d-rights plans on dubbing the 26 episode series into English, as well as other major languages in 2013 for release on television, home video, and other mediums. Alongside the first season of Cross Fire d-rights plans on launching the second season, entitled B-Daman Cross Fire eS in fall of 2014. That season of the show just recently began broadcast in Japan on TV Tokyo.

B-Daman Cross Fire is a relaunch of the B-Daman franchise started by Japanese toy conglomerate Takara Tomy. The series revolves around a series of little robots that shoot marbles in a variety of competitions from direct head to head battles, to soccer based score attacks. The franchise previously spawned the well known Battle B-Daman anime series alongside many others. The new series began Japanese broadcast in fall of 2011. With the launch of the B-Daman Cross Fire anime in North America and the world it’s expected that new toys will follow along with them. B-Daman Cross Fire’s staff includes Beyblade Metal Fusion movie director Yoshinori Okada, as well as that series animation studio Synergy SP.
