Bat Pat Flies to iFlix

Atlantyca Entertainment has recently signed a new deal with Kuala Lumpur-based streaming entertainment provider, iFlix, covering the rights to the animated comedy series Bat Pat. The series focuses on the adventures of the Silver sibling Rebecca, Leo, and Martin, together with the titular winged companion as they encounter a wide variety of lovable, creepy characters.

The deal will see the first season of Bat Pat, which consists of 52 x 11 minute episodes, launch in December 1 on iFlix’s app and web-based portals. iFlix is one of the leading SVOD companies in Asia, boasting of 5 million subscribers in the Philippines alone and reaching more than a billion consumers across Asia and beyond, including Brunei, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Russia, Ukraine, and Jamaica.

“Internet television service provider iflix is constantly expanding its content offerings and seeking to grow its subscriber base while maintaining its leading position in the emerging marketplace,” said Alessandra Dematteis, Distribution Manager, Atlantyca Ent. “We are so excited to have them as our streaming partner for this new animated production of ours, giving us access to an innumerable amount of young viewers in over 57 countries in Southeast Asia, Caribbean, Pacific Area, and CIS Area”.
