Big Bad Boo and TVO to Develop 16 Hudson Series

Canada’s Big Bad Boo Studios has recently teamed up with public broadcaster TVO in order to develop a new animated series based on the preschool property 16 Hudson, which itself is based loosely on the animated miniseries Lili and Lola, which focuses on two silly sisters who cohabitate in a small apartment in the big city.

The 16 Hudson series will be expanding the world built by Lili and Lola, featuring new characters and locations within the sisters’ busy neighborhood. The show will consist of 7 minute episodes and will showcase diversity by featuring special holidays like the Chinese New Year, Norooz, and Diwali.

16 Hudson will be Big Bad Boo’s fifth original program, after shows like 1001 Nights and Mixed Nuts.
