Big Bang Theory’s Melissa Rauch Guests in Blaze and the Monster Machines
Melissa Rauch, who is best known for playing Dr. Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz on the Geek-centric comedy sitcom The Big Bang Theory, will be lending her vocal talents to a special episode of Nickelodeon’s CG animated preschool show Blaze and the Monster Machines.
Rauch will be voicing the character called The Light Thief, which is a kangaroo bandit that steals all the lights in the show’s fictional Axel City, leaving its citizens struggling in the dark. It is then up to the monster truck Blaze, which has been outfitted with super bright speed lights, to chase the Light Thief down dark city streets and regain the city’s light.
As a way of promoting the episode, Nick’s Blaze and the Monster Machines app will add a new Light Raiders location in early February. The new location will use the STEM concept of reflection through the use of glowing tracks and racer headlights that can illuminate elements in the dark.
