Big Idea Entertainment Releases New VeggieTales App

Big Idea Entertainment has just released a new game app based on their extremely popular Veggietales property, titled VeggieTales: The League of Incredible Vegetables. The app is based on the same-titled superhero-themed DVD, and was created by Big Idea Entertainment in partnership with Thruster, which is the entertainment and social gaming division of Bottle Rocket Apps.

VeggieTales: The League of Incredible Vegetables is available for iPhone and iPod Touch ($2.99), the iPad ($4.99), and Android devices, and beginning exclusively on Amazon’s Android Kindle Fire ($2.99) followed by a wider Android release on Google Play.

VeggieTales: The League of Incredible Vegetables is targeted towards kids 4+ and features touch based controls as it invites players to help save the town of Bumblyburg in 28 different levels, during which they can collect Courage coins that can be used to unlock 60 powers and upgrades. The app includes interactive scenes from the DVD.
