Blinky Bill: The Movie Ready for NorAm Distribution

Studio 100 Film and Shout! Factory have recently signed a North American distribution deal for BlinkyBill: The Movie. Shout! has secured exclusive rights for the territory including broadcast, theatrical, digital and home entertainment and video-on-demand rights for cross-platform releases. In addition, a planned presentation across different platform will be pushed through the Shout! Factory Kids imprint.

The animated feature is produced by Flying Bark Productions (Studio 100’s Sydney-based animation studio) and features amazing voice casts including Rufus (Sewell (The Man in High Castle), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood), David Wenham (Lord of the Rings), Toni Collette (Little Miss Sunshine), Richard Roxburgh (Moulin Rouge, Maya the Bee Movie), Barry Otto (The Great Gatsby), Robin Mcleavy (Hell on Wheels) and Barry Humphries (Finding Nemo).

Blinky Bill (Ryan Kwanten) is a small koala with a huge imagination. Being an adventurer, he wanted to leave Green Patch and follow his missing dad’s footsteps. Mr. Bill went missing but Blinky believes that he’s still alive. When Blinky finds out about a mysterious marker that suggests at his father’s whereabouts, he goes on a journey which takes him outside of Green Patch and into the wild and treacherous Outback. Throughout his journey, he immediately makes friends with Jacko, a nervous frill-neck lizard and Nutsy, a zoo koala and they should know who to work together in order to survive the Australian landscape and locate Blinky’s father.
