Comedy Central’s new animated series BrickleBerry is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 10:30 PM, right after the fall premiere of Tosh.0. Brickleberry is executive produced by Daniel Tosh and series creator/writer Waco O’Guin and Roger Black.
Brickleberry will focus on a group of dysfunctional park rangers who were unfortunately given charge of a second tier national park. The show features a star studded cast that includes Kaitlin Olson (of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia fame) as Ehel, the smoking hot top ranger who is unceremoniously transferred to Brickleberry, Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants) as Woody, the head ranger who has good intentions, but poorly thought ideas, Dave Herman (Futurama) as Steve, the overconfident Ranger of the Month, Jerry Minor (Eastbound & Down) as Denzel, the African American ranger who isn’t comfortable in the woods, Roger Black as Connie, the unusually strong and masculine female ranger, and Tosh as Malloy, the cuddly, yet vulgar and spoiled resident bear.
The show’s pilot episode is titled “Welcome to Brickleberry,” and follows the long-running Ranger of the Month, Steve, as he is threatened by the new ranger Ethel, who comes to work at the park to help turn it around. Steve does everything in his power to get her fired, even going so far as to dig up her past.
