Cake to Present New Angry Birds Cartoon at MIPTV
Fans of Rovio’s cute (yet dangerous!) Angry Birds franchise should stay tuned, as London-based kids entertainment company CAKE has announced that they will be presenting a new Angry Birds cartoon at next month’s MIPTV market in Cannes.
Titled “Angry Birds Blues,” the new series will be CG-animated and will have no dialogue in its 30 x 2’30” episodes. Aimed towards kids aged 6 to 12, the new toon will be based on the successful full length movie, The Angry Birds Movie.
Angry Birds Blues will follow the mischievous bluebird triples from the film (you have to watch it all the way to the end to understand who we’re talking about here), Jake, Jay, and Jim. The triplets get into all sorts of mischief and mayhem when not under the watchful eyes of their doing parents, and will bump into many familiar faces as they go from cute and cuddly to just a little bit chaotic in the span of an episode.
Aside from Angry Birds Blues, CAKE will also present new episodes from Rovio’s Piggy Tales: 4th Street, which is the fourth series of the Bad Piggies-centric series, at the MIPTV market.
