Canal+ France Acquires Monster Entertainment’s I’m a Dinosaur
Canal+ France has recently secured the rights to Monster Entertainment’s 52 x 2 animated series I’m a Dinosaur, which was produced by Canada’s Huminah Huminah Animation. The series will be aired by Piwi+ under the theme “1 hour, 1 dino.”
I’m a Dinosaur was also recently picked up by Discovery Networks and is being broadcast across Asian territories. I’m a Dinosaur will feature 52 different dinosaurs presenting and showcasing the world that they lived in 65 million years ago. Each dinosaur will have its own style, quirk, and strengths and weaknesses showing in their presentations. The series will be made available in as many as 40 countries all over the world.
I’m a Dinosaur is part of Monster Entertainment’s “I’m a…” series of kid-friendly shows. One of the earlier shows, “I’m a Creepy Crawly,” is currently set to jump into the interactive platform with the development of a game app based on the series, with help from Dublin-based Pixel Wolf Studios. The I’m a Creepy Crawly app is slated for release in mid 2013. There’s no word on which platform it will support at the moment.
