CareBears Get Turned Into Noodles
No, don’t call the PETA just yet (or whatever agency is concerned with the welfare of magical animals). The Care Bears weren’t literally turned into noodles. It’s only a bunch of restaurant food with Care Bears theme.
The move was made by American Greetings Corporation’s American Greetings Properties, in partnership with Chef Jonathan Sawyer’s Cleveland-based restaurant Noodlecat, as a way of supporting the ongoing celebration for the Care Bears’ 30th Anniversary. Starting on July, all the way to the end of the month, Noodlecat will be honoring the Care Bears through rebrands of their food, such as the Noodlecat being rechristened Noodlebear, and with 3 Care Bears Events that will help raise funds and awareness for the Cleveland Food Bank.
The restaurant will feature special “Noodlebear” signage and menus, Care Bears products and activities as well as a canned food drive. Information about Care Bear events at the restaurant can be found at www.noodlebearcooks.eventbrite.com.
